Afternoon snack :)
YUMMMMMM..........this is so easy!!! Put any kind of yogurt in a large plastic bag.I used Greek God's Vanilla Honey. Cut a small hole in the corner and make little drops on a piece of parchment paper. Pop in the freezer then slide them in a bag! GREAT snack when you want something cool and sweet and refreshing. Kids love them too. You could also make shapes : ) ENJOY!
Nap Time
My daughter's nap time is something I am thankful for EVERY day. It is an amazing time where I feel motivated to get stuff done, do my quiet time or (and this HARDLY happens...wink wink....) look at crafty stuff online. Today I saw this adorable set of wall art, pretty sure I will do this in our new house!
Anniversary Day!
Yesterday my husband and I celebrated 4 year as a married couple! We had such a fun day even though he had to work. I had all these little surprises planned out for the day, starting out with a cute breakfast of heart shaped toast and strawberries and copies of letters we had sent to each other while dating. I tracked down our wedding video that we had both never seen and tried to set it all up but couldn't figure out the cords so had to ask him for help :S
Then I packed up our girly and a picnic lunch and we met him at a park near his work on his lunch break. We had such a fun relaxing time talking about our wedding day and playing with Jules. Among the millions of things I love and appreciate about my husband is how intently he listens to me and cares about what I am saying.
I am one blessed girl!
My parents were so great and offered to watch Juliana wile we went on a nice date in the evening and it was so fun to get dressed up (with my hair done!) and have time alone. We enjoyed an AMAZING dinner at Crush 29. YUM! (Although I was still hungry since the portion was so small!)We ended the night by walking around the Fountains eating cookies! Such a great anniversary!!!!!

Dinner Tonight!
KALE:
My new favorite thing! I've been a bit obsessed with it lately. It is SO delicious in omelets, stir fry, soup and as you see here, on Pizza! Our favorite way to do pizza lately is on the grill. If you haven't tried it then do it tonight! It's fast and easy and best of all very little clean up inside on a hot day. Spray the grill and stretch your dough out. Lay across the grill till slightly brown on the bottom then flip it. Layer your toppings, close the lid and turn to low. It comes out SO crispy and good!
First Post!
Welcome to my blog!
After spending over an hour trying to figure out how to design this blog I decided to just start creating a post! Nap time is a precious time and I don't want to spend it trying to figure out how to shift my title over!!!! Let me start off by saying that I LOVE blogs! I love how people share things they've done whether it's personal goals, redoing old furniture in their homes, old/new recipes, tutorials, or anything really! I've always looked longingly at people's blogs wishing I could also share....but in reality most days I feel happy when my hair gets done and make-up is on my face (and even HAPPIER days when i actually go to the gym or make a nice dinner). And I only have ONE baby! My respect goes out to you who have multiple kids and still look presentable, make dinner, keep your house clean, work out,go grocery shopping, and raise children! I am learning :)
